Guesthouse Samanala

Idyllically located guesthouse in the south of Hikkaduwa, in the midst of a tropical garden.

"Samanala" means well-balance, balance, beauty. The word is derived from Samanalia (butterfly). The guesthouse is managed by Nilantha Pattarnott, a Singhalese with good knowledges in German and English.

The house offers four two-bed-rooms with WC and shower (warm water), also two apartments with livingroom, diningplace (incl kitchen), bedroom and bath. All rooms and apartements are air-conditioned and have free WIFI. For a longer stay on the island the 2-room-apartments are suited excellently.

Next to the mainbuilding there´s a smaller two-staired house spending place for 4 persons.

Downstairs are a bath, a living-room, dining-place and a kitchen. Upstairs you find two bedrooms, each with a balcony which can´t be looked into.

There is also a small terrace in front of and a small one behind the house connected with a small garden which can only be reached by the residents of the apartments.

The large balconies are furnished with Rattan-movables.

The house lies off 250 meters of the beach, you find there shadow roofs and sun day beds at the restaurant and beach bar "Palm Beach".

Fresh towels for the rooms and apartments every 2 days.

Fresh bed linen 1x per week (for a small surcharge towels and bed linen also on request).

Transfer:

The transfer from the airport and back (120 km each) will be charged at 180 euros in the car (1-2 pers) and 200 euros in the minibus (3-5 pers.). Arrival is also possible on your own by bus or train.
